These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of scottishairways.com and all of its content (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What this Site is, and is not

scottishairways.com is an independent, informational flight-search guide and reference website. We are not an airline, travel agent, tour operator, booking agent or financial adviser. We do not sell tickets, take payments, form part of any booking contract, or operate, control or endorse any flight, hotel, car hire, tour or other service. Any booking you make is a contract solely between you and the relevant third-party provider, on their terms.

2. Information is provided for general guidance only

All content on the Site is provided for general information only and on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We make no representation or warranty that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, current or reliable.

Airline routes, schedules, frequencies, prices, availability, fees, baggage rules, transport times, opening hours and travel requirements change frequently and without notice. You must independently verify every detail with the airline, airport, provider or other official source before you book, pay for, or rely on it, and before you travel. Nothing on the Site is a guarantee that any service will operate, be available, or be offered at any particular price.

3. AI-assisted and illustrative content

Some content on the Site, including written guides, summaries and imagery, is produced or assisted using artificial-intelligence tools and is then published under human editorial oversight. Automated and AI-assisted content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information or inaccuracies, and should be treated as general guidance only, not as a statement of fact.

Unless a specific image is expressly credited to a named photographer or source, images on the Site are AI-generated or stylised illustrations intended to convey mood or theme. They are not photographs of, and do not accurately depict, any specific real place, property, aircraft, venue or event, and must not be relied upon as an accurate representation of any real location or product.

4. Not professional advice

The Site does not provide travel, legal, financial, immigration, safety or any other professional advice, and nothing on it should be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for your own travel decisions, arrangements, documents, insurance and safety. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, products, services, pricing, availability, accuracy or practices of any third-party site, nor for any transaction you enter into with them. 6. Your responsibilities and assumption of risk

You use the Site, and act on any information found on it, entirely at your own risk. You agree to verify all information before relying on it, to comply with all applicable laws and third-party terms, and not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or impair it.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, scottishairways.com, its owners, operators, contributors and suppliers exclude all liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content on it, or your reliance on it. This includes, without limitation, any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, and any loss of profit, revenue, bookings, data, goodwill or opportunity, missed or disrupted travel, additional costs, or any loss arising from inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information, whether arising in contract, delict or tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law and, in any event, shall not exceed GBP 50.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless scottishairways.com and its owners and operators from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your reliance on any content.

9. Intellectual property

The Site and its original content, layout and branding are protected by intellectual-property rights. Third-party names, marks and logos are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the airlines, airports or providers to which they refer; their use does not imply any partnership, affiliation or endorsement.

10. Availability and changes

We do not guarantee that the Site will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms at any time by updating this page, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the law of Scotland, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
